Daniel Karz-Wagman & Cody Morrison are the two founders and creative force behind this LA based band, bringing forth a keen dubwise approach to electronic dance music, maintaining the fidelity of the nightclub soundsystem while bringing the energy of a live band. Utilizing a combination of digital and analogue instruments, The Weapons are driven by a clear mandate to explore the relationships between Reggae & Dub, House, Deep Dubstep, Drum & Bass, Afrobeat and Funk.

Known around the world as Dubsworth and Tapa, they are also the co-owners of Dubs Alive Records, a well established stateside Dubstep imprint, and more recently they have evolved to become The Weapons-a dedicated live performance outlet, reinventing their label’s release catalogue while creating new remixes & original productions with a fresh new medium.

This Soca-style remix of ‘Water is Life’ celebrates the diversity of styles within Dub influenced music, and this talented duo represents the bright future ahead for Dub, Reggae & World music in the digital age!
